Getting Started
Setup takes about ten minutes. SendMate runs as a desktop app on your own computer and sends from your own Follow Up Boss number, so there is nothing to configure on a server.
1. Download And Install
Sign in at mysendmate.com/account and use the download button there. Mac and Windows builds are both available.
The Mac build is signed and notarized by Apple. The Windows installer is code-signed, but SmartScreen can still warn until a new certificate builds reputation. If you see that prompt, choose More info then Run anyway.
2. Sign In
Open SendMate and sign in with the same email address you used to purchase. Your plan and seat entitlement load automatically.
3. Connect Follow Up Boss
The setup wizard walks you through connecting your Follow Up Boss account. SendMate sends through your own Follow Up Boss number, so your leads see the number they already know.
4. Set Your Schedule
Choose the days and hours SendMate is allowed to send, and how far apart messages go out. Sends are spaced automatically rather than fired in a burst, and quiet hours are respected so nothing goes out at an unreasonable time for the contact.
5. Send A Test First
Before turning on automation, use Send Test SMS to text yourself. It confirms the Follow Up Boss connection end to end and shows exactly what a contact receives.
